IEEE 802 Session Information

To: All IEEE 802 Members & Attendees

The March 2010 IEEE 802 LMSC Plenary Session will be held at the Caribe Royale Resort and Convention Center in Orlando, Florida during the week of March 14-19, 2010.

Session Registration: Any individual who attends any part of a meeting that is a scheduled part of an 802 Plenary Session must register for the full session. Registration is available through a secure website or at the IEEE 802 Registration Desk On-Site. Session registrations are not transferable to another individual or to another plenary session. If you web register for an IEEE 802 session and then are unable to attend, you must request cancellation of your registration before the cancellation deadline to be eligible for a refund of the fees paid.

We strongly encourage web registration for this session, as it will save you much time spent waiting in line at the On-Site Registration Desk. In addition, if you register on the web during the pre-registration period, you will save $100 US. For the March 2010 Plenary Session, the web pre-registration fee is $400 US. Web pre-registration closes at 6pm PT, Friday, February 12, 2010 (UTC Time: Saturday, February 13, 2010, 2am). After that time, and before 6pm PT, Friday, March 8, 2010 the registration fee is $500 US. After that time, the registration fee is $600 US for both web registration and on-site registration. Web registration requires valid credit card information for the payment of the registration fee; checks are NOT accepted for web-registration.

A $300US surcharge will be added to the registration fee for those attendees not booking and staying in the 802-contracted hotel(s). For the March 2010 Plenary Session, the contracted hotels are the Caribe Royale Resorts and the Buena Vista Suites. Proof of hotel stay will be required to prevent the surcharge.
